Wow life is busy! Here I am again weeks after my last post so I am just going to hit some highlights with pictures.
Johnny:
Johnny is working like crazy! He is hardly ever home and when he is, he has to get caught up on sleep. He has been sick twice in the last month which is very uncommon for him! I think he is just stressed out! He was able to help at an open house for the fire department where the public could come and see the ambulances and trucks and get free lunch. I love free lunch and I love visiting Johnny at work, so we went too.
I am very proud of him and all of the hard work that he does!
Me:
I am enjoying my summer vacation! I do not have to work for almost three months and that feels good! My kiddos are my life and I only work so we can pay bills and keep our family happy and healthy! I have no real plans for the near future except lots of different doc visits for Audrey and Jack and swim lessons with Jack! I look forward to fun times this summer!
Jack:
Jack is sure keeping me busy! He is definitely a two year old and is beginning to throw the BIGGEST fits when he doesn't get his way! He really is a good kid though! I love his little smile and he is talking a lot more! I took him to the dentist today and found out that his first set of baby molars (the ones behind the canines) are too soft. He has chipped them in his many falls and the dentist is afraid that if we do nothing he will get big cavities and/or infections so we need to cap the teeth. This doesn't sound fun to me, but I would rather go through a little thing now, than have his teeth rot out of his head! He is too young to sit awake while they do it, so on June 28th, he will go under general anesthesia at Primary's to get this all taken care of. He is in good hands and if he needs to be put under, this is the only place I will let him be to do so.
We start his mommy and me swim lessons on Monday and I am excited! I think it will be a good time for just the two of us (no cute Audrey) to spend some time together. We went with our friends this past week to the pool and Jack loved it! He went down the slide with me or Johnny like 20 times (seriously!!!). He would laugh and then say "mo"(more). He has his own towel and looks so cute in his suit!
So every night I let Jack choose one car to take with him to bed. He always chooses one of his matchbox cars and holds it while he falls asleep. Well, he really thought tonight and chose something he has never done before. I had to honor his choice, but only for a few minutes, then we switched for a smaller model.
Audrey:
My little Audrey Mae is always happy. She is a ray of sunshine in our family and is always looking for someone to hold her and love her! She can get around now doing a funny army crawl and she puts EVERYTHING in her mouth. Jack never put things in his mouth so this is new to me. I had heard that is what babies do, but I never thought it would be to this extreme! She will find the smallest speck on my floor and then try to eat it! She isn't on the floor for long though because Jack is usually sitting on her, or bothering her in some other way. She probably would be crawling right now, if she could have more floor time. But for her sake, I can't put her down as much as she would like.
She loves solid food and just plain loves to eat! She is still nursing but combines that with her three meals a day! It is fun to have a baby that eats well!
The Whole Family:
My Grandma's birthday was a couple weeks ago so we had a party for her at my parent's ward house. I took my ball pit for the kids to play in while the adults played volleyball. John and Natalie brought Claire and Dallin and it was fun to see them!

Love the pic of Johnny and your dad and one other guy all standing with their hands on their hips. Too funny!
Good luck with those fits with Jack! Austin just gets out of control sometimes. He seems to be getting better but sheesh! I think it should be the "demandind twos". And swim lessons sound fun! They don't have anything like that here or we'd sign up for sure.
I'm so glad you posted. I was going to bug you on fb cuz I wanted to see pics of Audrey's cute flower head. Glad I checked first. She is just adorable!
Enjoy all your summer time with them and take lots of pics (and share them)!
