We have done so much since the last time I updated our blog!!! So here I am trying to catch up! See if you can keep up!
On Dec 11 we went on a field trip to Johnny's fire station. My friend Rebecca has set up a little group with our ward called the fieldtrippers. The cute kiddos in our ward and their mommies go to different places around the valley and this was the one to end the year. Most toddlers and little kids (and adults for that matter) don't ever get to see the fire station. We had 17 kids come!!! 15 of them were 4 and under! Johnny did a very good job showing the station off and keeping the kids attention for more than five seconds!
Johnny put on all his gear so the kids can see what a fireman looks like! A couple of the kids were plugging their ears because they thought Johnny was going to make loud noises!
Jack thinks he owns the fire station and went and looked at the trucks while Johnny talked.
We had a ball pit out in our living room! Jack figured out that he could fill the baby swing up with the balls! The worst was when he started filling it up with the baby inside it!
A star in the making!
Traci, my sister-in-law, told me about Santa coming to visit at the West Valley Library. We got their early and were there when Santa arrived. It was so cute, Jack pointed right at Santa and said "Je-sa, Je-sa!" I had to explain to him that it wasn't Jesus, it was Santa! He decided that he didn't really like Santa!
We got together with Preston, Brielle, Nathan and Hannah for a cousin's Christmas party! Audrey slept through almost the whole thing! We exchanged presents and had a good time playing! Hannah is sitting up and Brielle is trying her hardest! All the cute little girls love looking at each other and next year, they will be all over the place! The cute little boys were fun to watch too! Preston is sooooo good with Jack and Jack was cranky anyway!
The two older boys can hold their sisters, but Jack refused to hold Audrey so that is why I am in the picture too.
I finally did it! I pulled off a surprise party. My dear sweet Johnny was born on Dec 22 and I want to make sure that he doesn't feel jipped because his birthday is so close to Christmas! He had to work the day and night of his birthday so I had set up with my family and his to come to the station to celebrate! I sent his captain a message on facebook asking if it was okay for us to come. I sent out invitations without Johnny knowing and everything was set up to go well. Well . . . I got there at 6:50 to wait for people to come at 7:00. Johnny was outside calling me so he saw me come. I gave my family the sign to lay low and I went inside with Johnny and the kids. Just when I was going to go down and let everyone in to run up the stairs and yell surprise, the tones went off and all the guys (and gals) had to leave on a call! I wanted to cry! I let everyone up anyway and we took over the fire station watching the BYU bowl game! The truck and crew got back first and we chatted with them while we waited for Johnny to take the patient to the hospital! Once the ambulance returned we rushed everyone to another room and turned out the lights! We told Johnny to go look at the computer. When he turned on the light, everyone jumped out and yelled surprise! Johnny was shocked!!!! I loved it! We had cake and ice cream and Johnny really enjoyed it!
For his birthday, Johnny really wanted to go to the dinosaur museum! I set up with our friends the Wrights to go down to Thanksgiving Point dinosaur museum on the 23rd. It was the best time to go, two days before Christmas in the evening! Audrey slept through most of it, this is a picture before she nodded off!
They had fun wind tunnels you could stick stuff into.
Rebecca, Lydia, and Ryan Wright. They live by us and are good friends!

With all the dinosaurs and everything to look at, Jack was most interested in taking the crayons out and putting them back into the bucket!!!

They have a fun sand and water area. The last time we went there were like 50 kids packed into this area! Tonight there were only two other kids besides Jack and Lydia. It was so fun, they were able to enjoy it and do what they wanted! Jack loved taking the dinosaurs and shoving them under the dirt and saying "uh-oh!"

Oh I love my Baby Jack!

Jack did not like the fact that Lydia was touching the dinosaur that he liked! He is having to get used to sharing and he HATES it!

They became friends again and played together in the sand pit area. You can dig up fossils, but Jack ended up just sweeping around him for a while! He loves sand and loved really digging his toes into the sand!

The tights came off and went back on a couple times. The best was when Lydia said she wanted to get naked!

Christmas Eve was very enjoyable! Johnny had to work, but the rest of the family was there. We had a nice dinner on my parents China they received at their wedding! Then we exchanged out sibling presents and cousin presents! Traci made Jack a very cute blanket and then gave Audrey a fun princess blanket that lights up too. So fun!

Jack was tired and didn't enjoy opening his present at all!

We only got Audrey one present, because she doesn't really care! She liked her light up ball, but Jack would take it from her, every chance he got!

We then went to my parent's house for some fun! My parents gave Johnny his birthday present there. Part of it was a gift card to REI. They taped it on the back of an Elvis DVD. It was so funny to see Johnny try to figure out why they would give him an Elvis DVD. He finally turned it over and realized it was a fun prank!

Eric, Lisa, and I went in on a 50 inch Plasma TV for my parents this year! I got a killer deal the day after Thanksgiving and they couldn't believe it! It is top of the line and was so worth the money with how excited they were! Since then, they have bought a motorized tilt mount and a blu-ray player! I always knew they wanted it!

We then went to Johnny's parent's house. We got so many beautiful gifts and the camera stopped working part way through, but we got the before shot! We then had a wonderful dinner, which Margaret did an awesome job on! Jack got an ambulance from his Uncle Chris and Aunt Rachelle that he wouldn't put down to open any other presents! It was the highlight of his whole Christmas! We received so many gifts and feel greatly blessed!

Johnny got home on Christmas morning about 10:30. It was fun to see him. This is our little Christmas tree! Actually it was a big tree, but with a few ornaments!

Audrey is the happiest baby! She is so sweet and smiles through everything, even direct attacks from her over-loving big brother!
