Oh So Depressed!!!
I went to my OBGYN yesterday looking for great news and didn't get any, AT ALL!!! I haven't changed since last week as far as dilation and effacement goes! Then he said just matter-a-factly, oh and you are also Strep-B positive so you will have to go on Anti-Biotics during labor. I felt so dirty! I thought man do I need to put on a scarlet letter or something. THEN he tells me that he is going out of town next week, but it doesn't matter because I won't be having the baby that early anyway! SO those are my rantings and I know it isn't that bad, but hey at least I will make it to my baby shower next Saturday.

:( I'm sorry! That is frustrating. Blast it all! Pile it on! I keep getting "you're 0 dilated". At least tell me I'm a 1!
Famous last words. "You won't have the baby that early, anyway." Won't your doctor feel silly when you have the baby next Wednesday? =)
Emily! you poor girl. Well if it helps, I am a groub B strep carrier too and, in fact, a large percentage of women are. So don't let that get you down, it will be no big deal at all and you are NOT dirty! Good luck and let us know when baby comes.
