It is so frustrating when you think you have everything planned out and then something just comes up and BAM!!! plans change. Today Johnny and Jack were going to come and visit me at work. The snow was coming down pretty good but Johnny stayed at about 20-25 mph. He was going north on state street when a guy in a burgundy SUV did an illegal u-turn and slid right into Johnny head on. The baby started screaming and I think Johnny would have too, but he was trying to keep it together for Jack. He called me and I drove the couple blocks to where he was. I sat with him while he did the paper work and talked to Jack to keep him calm. The police man gave Johnny the driver information sheet and (low and behold!) we found the driver has NO INSURANCE!!! Argh! So we will be stuck with a $500 deductible. There goes the Christmas Bonus! Johnny was going to get a new laptop, but really I am just glad they're safe. The policeman cited him for everything he could, no insurance, bald tires, turning into traffic, etc. The cop told him that he would have taken him to jail, but he didn't have time today! So frustrating! Luckily Johnny was only going 20 mph and some of the pictures don't look that bad, but still. And actually I don't care how much it costs as long as both of my boys are safe! We truly are blessed.

And on a happier note, Jack continues to be really really cute in his Christmas Jammies!

Oh my goodness! Baby Jack is SOOOO cute in those jammies! Talk about skinny! My girls have rolls nad rolls! It's so funny to actually see legs not covered in pudge!
Glad to hear that everyone was okay. Hopefully you won't have any more "bonuses" any time soon. The picture of Jack you are using as your header where he's by the Christmas tree is very cute! Merry Christmas!
I'm glad everyone is ok, but that officer should have taken him to jail. That's his job!
Happy holidays to you and the family! Hopefully Christmas will be better than the previous week.
Little Skinny legs! Darling!!!
