Jack's New Friend

Before I start my real post, I needed to share two pictures in the continuing saga of Jack reverting back to babyhood.  His latest was climbing into the walker and then running around hitting his daddy in the ankles!  I didn't get any pictures of that.  Now in the following pictures, Jack doesn't have all his clothes on because most of the pictures I usually take are at night when I am trying to get him changed and in bed, so don't judge me!  Here he was enjoying a "boo" and decided to lounge in the baby's car seat.

He really cracks me up!
Now about Jack's new friend......when I was younger I saved and saved and bought myself an American Girl doll.  I loved her and decided to keep her for my daughter to play with, little did I know my son would want her first.  Johnny has been moving some things around in the storage room and somehow this doll's box got down within reach.  During the middle of watching Lost, Jack wandered in there and came out, dragging her by her hair.  I really hope dolls don't come to life when we aren't around, because she might be angry!  Anyway, he sat by her, talked to her, and made her open and close her eyes for the rest of the show.  When it was over, it was time for bed, so I picked Jack up to go to bed and he started crying reaching out for her!  We took her with us and went upstairs to put on jammies.  He put glasses on her and even kissed her goodnight!  Johnny's not really keen on the idea of his son playing with a doll, but I think it's cute!  He still likes trucks and dirt but I think its sweet he has a soft spot for a little dolly named Molly!

Once he saw Audrey laying on the floor though, he changed his mind about which thing to torture with his love!

She really is such a sweet thing to put up with him and never cries unless he REALLY hurts her!  Oh she is an angel child and is quite possibly the closest you can come to having a perfect baby!  She is now eating bananas at night for a snack.  She won't eat breast milk and cereal so we decided to just do the bananas since she is doing so well with them.  She will eat sweet potatoes from Johnny during the day if I have to work.  I just love her to pieces!

I love the doll story, it is so sweet and also funny that Johnny wouldn't like his boy playing with a doll... typical Y chromosome! haha.
Both of them are just so sweet and those EYES! I want to take pictures of them next time we see you guys, I just love those eyes!
