Dinos and Utes

Don't get me wrong, I love Jack so much and love being with him, BUT Johnny and I had two fantastic dates this past week, just the two of us (and Lisa on Tuesday). We got the tickets to both events for free which made it all the sweeter!

Tuesday: We went to the dinosaur museum fown at Thanksgiving Point. My uncle is a state legislator and gets us tickets to all kinds of things! We also gave my sister Lisa a ride down. My parents watched Jack for us which made it a lot easier to go. He was almost over his Roseola and couldn't be out in public. There was a beautiful buffet with amazing vegetables, breads, meatballs, and tons of desserts. It was so fun to be there with Johnny because he was seriously like a four year old! He was so excited to see the dinosaurs he couldn't eat! We walked through and saw all kind of cool dinosaur bones! We saw the supersaurus down to the teeny tiny fossils stuck in rocks! After we walked through the museum, we went to the gift shop and Johnny couldn't leave until he bought a trilobyte. Here are some pictures of the fun night!:

Wednesday: My partner in crime at work, Mary Gilchrist, gave me tickets to the Utah game. They were the most amazing tickets I have ever seen! We had four tickets. Two were on the twelfth row, and that is where Johnny's dad and friend from the ward sat. Johnny and I however sat in the floor seats on the front row. Let me say that one more time, because it will never happen again!: we sat in the floor seats on the front row. There was no one and nothing between me and the players! Sometimes the ref even got in the way of watching, it was crazy! We could hear the coach yelling at the players whenever they came over for a timeout! They also swear more than I thought they did. We were so close, we could smell the sweat!!! The half time show was fun, it was ladies from 50 to 92 dancing to a country song. It was so funny! Anyway it was the coolest game ever!
