I never know what daddy is going to do with him while I am at work. Jack has taken a bottle very well since I can't nurse him while I am at work, obviously. He is starting to eat more than I pump at lunch though so luckily I have like 3 gallons frozen!Jack went in for his six-month check up today! I got off work a few hours early and went with Johnny to the pediatrician. Jack is very healthy and it was fun to see where he is right now. He weighs 16.23 pounds which is in the 20th percentile (he is a little guy!). He is 27 inches long which is the 61st percentile. And (drum role please) his head size is in the 94th percentile!!! He is going to be a very smart kid!
We also got his shots for the first time. We were both nervous, and Jack had no idea what hit him, but it was good to get them. We got the polio and DTaP so he got one in each leg. He did NOT like getting shots and hasn't had any before so he really needed mommy afterwards! We gave him a nice warm bath after and luckily we haven't seen many side effects.
